Rainbow Slice

  • 180 grams Weetbix
  • 20 grams cocoa
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 30 grams Coconut
  • 200 grams Butter
  • egg
  • Sprinkle, 100's & 1000's or coloured choc chips

Icing

  • 180 grams icing sugar
  • 20 grams cocoa
  • 20 grams Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Milk

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat Oven 160 degrees (fan forced)
    Grease a slice tin & add baking paper overlaying tin
    Add butter to Thermomix bowl, melt 90 degrees/ 2 mins
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix 10 secs/speed 5. Scrape down sides.

    Mix 10 secs/ Speed 4.

    Press into slice tin. Bake for 10-15 mins or until firm.

    Coolslightly, whilst making icing.

    Icing

    Combine all ingredients, 10 secs/ speed 4. Scrapedown sides of bowl.

    Repeat if necessary.

    Spread over slice with hot knife, pressin coloured chocchips or sprinkles.

    Set aside for 2 hours, cut into squares.

    Serve.

  • We reduced the sugar in half I think the butter...

    We reduced the sugar in half. I think the butter too need to be cut back as our slice was very oily.
