Salted Caramel Sauce

  • 50g brown sugar
  • 50g white sugar
  • 50g Maple syrup
  • 150g double cream
  • 80g Butter
  • 11/2tsp Salt flakea
  • 1tsp vanilla

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in the bowl 10mins/Var/sp3

    When finished, place into jars and store in fridge

  • After mixing the sauce

    After mixing the sauce ingredients for 10 minutes.  Turn temperature to 80 degrees, and mix for a further 4 minutes on speed 3.
