Sticky Date Slice

  • 75 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 35 grams plain flour
  • 25 grams YIAH Milk Chocolate Powder
  • 30 grams rolled oats
  • 75 grams brown sugar
  • 70 grams Chopped Pitted dates
  • 2 tubs of chocolate Mousse, I use Soleil to keep calories low
  • 1 egg
  • 125 grams skim milk
  • 35 grams Chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Sticky Date Slice
  1. 1. Preheat oven at 180oc, Lightly spray square slice tin. Line base and sides with baking paper.

    2. Add Flours, Choc powder, oats, sugar and dates to bowl. Speed 4, 30secs.

    3. Add choc mousse, egg, oil and milk to bowl and mix 30Secs, Speed 6.

    4. Pour mix into tin, sprinkle with walnuts. Bake for 20-25mins.

    5. Leave slice in tin for 10mins before turning onto wire rack. Once cooled completly cut into squares.

These freeze really well.
