Ingredients

  • 250-280 g banana, broken into pieces
  • 125 g Butter, Softened
  • 215 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda

      Recipe is created for

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

    Grease & prepare your tin - can be made into cake / loaf / muffins
  2. Weigh in banana, butter & sugar 15 sec / spd 4 Scrape down sides of bowl
  3. Add eggs 5 sec / spd 4 Scrape down sides of bowl
  4. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda 10 sec / spd 4, scrape sides and 3 sec / spd 4 if needed.
  5. Pour batter into your prepared tin.

    Bake

    Cake 30-40 mins

    Loaf 20-30 mins

    Muffins 15-20 mins

    Bake until skewer comes out clean.
    If making cake or loaf - tinfoil can be added to cover if the top is getting too brown during cooking.

    Cake and muffins can be iced with cream cheese icing, white icing, chocolate icing etc

    Freeze well un-iced
