Scone dough

  • 500 grams SR flour
  • pinch salt
  • 60 grams Butter, Cubed
  • 300 grams Milk

  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Bean Paste

Recipe's preparation

    Scones
  1. Preheat oven 180degrees.

    Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

    Place SR flour, salt & butter into TM bowl. Speed 6, 6 seconds. 

    Add 300g milk. 1 min, kneading function. 

    Turn dough out onto a floured bread mat.

    Roll with a rolling pin gently in a flat rectangle shape. 

  2. Butterscotch
  3. Place butter, brown sugar & vanilla bean paste in the TM bowl. Speed 4.5, 20 seconds. 

    Spread butterscotch evenly over the scone dough. 

    Roll into a sausage shape and cut into pinwheels. 

    Place on oven tray and bake for 10-15mins.

    This is yummy. I have made it twice now. We love it for breakfast/brunch or picnics. Best eaten straight away that day. Doesn't keep well.
