  • 100 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams golden syrup
  • 150 grams brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 eggs
  • 75 grams Milk
  • 160 grams White Choc Chips
  • icing sugar for dusting
  • 300 grams plain flour

Recipe's preparation

    Slice
  1. Preheat pven to 180 degrees celcius. Grease and line a 19cm x 29cm sice pan.

    Place butter, syrup, sugar, ginger and cinnamon into bowl. Cook 90 degrees/3 mins/speed 2. Allow to cool slightly. Add eggs and milk. Mix well. Add flour and chocolate. Combine for 30 seconds on Dough mode

    Fill prepared pan and bake 30-35 minutes, until firm. Cool completely in pan. Dust with icing sugar and cut into fingers and serve.

    Yummy but.... I could not taste the white chocolate at all. Next time I won't bother with white but might try milk or dark instead. A heads up too don't bake the slice in a pan that is too big - it will go hard. Also, it is easy to double this recipe.

    Ive never had to freeze it as it disappears so quickly! But I'm sure it would!
