If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
pre heat oven 150 degrees
line springform pan 20cm
grate chocolate 5 seconds speed 8
add chopped butter, buttermilk and sugar melt and stir 10 minutes 50 degrees speed 2
add vanilla essences and eggs 5 seconds speed 5
add self raising flour, plain flour and bicarbonate soda mix 15 seconds speed 5
pour in lined pan and bake for 60 minutes
when cake is cooled ice
make ganache as per basic cookbook/ EDC

This cake freezes very well I have made it several times for my kids birthday cakes I make and freeze so on the day I just decorate.

Colls: Sorry I did not receive a message about your comment google using ordinary milk I think you just add lemon to it to make it like buttermilk. You could use milk but buttermilk is preferred.

Delicious cake. I made it for a decorated farewell cake and layered it with a dark chocolate mud cake. It stayed firm and was great for decorating. Everyone said how delicious it was. I ate some of the offcuts and it was sooo yummy. Even without icing it tasted amazing. Thanks!

I LOVE this! It is so tasty
