  • 400 g plain flour
  • 200 g Butter, Chilled, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 110 g chilled water

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. Put flour, butter, sugar & salt in bowl. Mix for 10 sec on speed 6 or until mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add water & knead for 20 secs. Transfer mixture to a floured board or thermomat & knead into 2 even balls. Wrap separately in plastic wrap & put in fridge for 15mins. Use one ball for base of pie & the other for the lid. Recipe could be halved if you just want it for a base. Also, for a less sweet pastry, cut out the sugar.
