  • 750 grams Plums - washed and stoned
  • 2 Apples - peeled and sliced
  • 160 grams Rapadura, or your sugar of choice
  • 1 tsp cloves ground
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe's preparation

    To make the jam
  1. Add all ingredients into TM bowl.

    30 mins / 100c / speed 1 with MC removed. Place the steaming basket over the lid to avoid any jam spitting out.

    Blend for 30 seconds / speed 5 for a smooth consistency

    Pour into a couple of sterilized jars and refrigerate.

    Thank you for sharing your recipe. I cooked my batch a little longer and I added more sugar as my plums are rather tart. I turned out rather tasty in the end.

    After reading comments I cooked jam extra 5 minutes but still didn't set properly, turned out more like a thick sauce. Didn't mind it not being too sweet and loved the spicy flavour.Smile

    Deeeeelicious! I cooked mine 5 mins longer for my TM5. Used rapadura sugar; halved clove just in case it was a bit too strong for kids palate, but could definitely have kept at full amount.Smile

    Excellent recipe. Mine was more like a sauce. I omitted the cloves and have been using it on my bircher muslie - absolutely perfect for that!

    Thanks for the recipe. It is a bit different with the spices but a winner here. Didn't quite set but still passable for jam. making another batch with the next load of plums i get!

    I found this a bit too 'spicey' and not sweet enough.  If i make it again i will half the cloves amount and do about 250g sugar.  How it is by this recipe will do very well for sweet and sour sauce etc. though.
