Crusty yogurt and honey bread

Ingredients

Dough

  • 30 grams fresh yeast, Or 2 tspns dried yeast
  • 100-150 grams water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 500 grams bakers flour
  • 2 teaspoons bread improver
  • 150 grams natural yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Add yeast, water and honey to the Closed lid.

    2. Blend sp4/10 seconds

    3. Add remaining ingredients in the order listed, using 100g of water to start.

    4. Blend sp7/15seconds. Check dough and add small amounts of extra water if needed to make a blendable dough.

    5. Knead Dough mode, 5 minutes.

    6. Tip onto a silicone mat or into a greased covered bowl and rest for 30 minutes.

    7. Punch dough down to fit a medium greased loaf pan or into a free form shape.

    8. Prove covered in a warm spot for 30 minutes or until double in size.

    9. Place in a preheated 190C oven for 25-30 minutes or until done when tested.

    10. Cool on a wire rack.
