Ingredients
Fakers Delight Cheese and Bacon Rolls
- 280 g water, warm
- 5 g dried instant yeast
- 10 g sugar
- 5 g salt, fine
- 500 g flour, bakers/bread
- 5 g bread improver, (or apple cider vinegar)
- 15 g olive oil
- 1 egg, lightly beaten (for egg wash)
- 150 g bacon, diced
- 200 g cheese, grated

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Place warm water, yeast and sugar into the Thermomix mixing bowl.
20 seconds on speed 3 - then add : salt, flour, bread improver/apple cider vinegar and olive oil.
5 seconds at speed 7 then 3 minutes on dough function"Dough mode"
- transfer the sticky dough from the mixing bowl into a lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic cling wrap... or wrap loosely in Thermomix Silicone Baking Mat.
- let the dough rest/prove in a warm place for approximately 1 hour or until it has doubled/tripled in size.
- turn the sticky dough onto Silicone Baking Mat, divide dough into 12 small/medium rolls or 6 larger rolls.
- place onto a lined baking tray. let bread rolls rest/prove for a further 30 minutes or until nearly doubled in size.
- then flatten the rolls slightly with your hands, and then brush with egg wash.
- then top with diced bacon and grated cheese (add as little or much as your heart desires) 😍
- bake for 15 - 20 minutes until golden and melty.
transfer to cooling rack. - Enjoy warm..
store in an airtight container when cool.
these are also suitable to freeze (if they last that long).
I let cool completely and place into zip-lock bags.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
