Flat bread with herb butter

Ingredients

Herb flat bread

  • 500 g SR flour
  • 1 level tablespoon baking powder
  • 400 g natural yoghurt
  • 1 level tablespoon salt flakes
  • SR flour, For dusting

Herb and Garlic butter

  • 50 g unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 bunch flat leaf parsley, chopped

Recipe's preparation

    Bread dough
  1. Place Flour, baking powder, yoghurt and sea salt in TM mix 5 sec speed 5.  Then knead  Closed lid 2 mins dough mode .  Wrap in breadmat or put into floured bowl, cover with a tea towel a put aside.


     


     

  2. Herb and Garlic Butter
  3. Place garlic and parsley in TM chop 10 sec speed 8. Add butter and melt 3 mins 60 deg speed 3.  Divide dough into 12 equal balls .  Roll out to bread butter  plate size. Make 5 incisions in each bread.   Cook on dry, hot griddle for a few mins each side until light and fluffy.   Then brush with herb butter.

Tip

This bread is a great accompaniment for curries. Delicious as a dipper for dips.

    This is a great recipe! In my opinion a little too much salt though, you'd probably only need at least half maybe even a bit less depending on your taste.
