Garlic Butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 125 g Butter
Bread
- 330 g Milk
- 2 level tsp dried instant yeast
- 10 g sugar
- 450 g flour
- 1 level tsp salt
- 20 g oil

- Add Garlic & (handful of fresh parsley if u have it) to
"Closed lid" . Chop for 3 seconds / Speed 7.
- Add butter. Mix for 20 seconds / Speed 4. Transfer the garlic Butter to a separate bowl. Do not refrigerate.
- Add milk, yeast & sugar to
"Closed lid" . Mix for 1 minute /37
"Warm Up" /speed 1
- Add flour, salt & olive oil to
"Closed lid" . Mix for 20 seconds / Speed 3. Then knead for 5 minutes on dough function.
- Transfer to thermomix mat and proof for around 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
- Roll bread out into a flat square. Spreading the garlic Butter evenly over the dough. Add grated cheese at this stage if u want. Leaving a couple of tablespoons leftover of the butter to brush over the top.
Roll the dough into a scroll shape. Cut into slices. Take each peice and stretch the dough to cover the raw edge. Sealing in the garlic mixture into a bun shape.
Line a tray with the balls, close enough to join and form a pull apart style tray. - Second proof.
Place the buns in a cold oven and place a oven proof dish of boiling water below the tray of buns. Shut the oven door and let them proof again for 30 mins. Remove from oven while the oven heats up. - Heat the oven to 180°C
Cook the bread for 20 mins
Remove from oven, brush with remaining garlic Butter and sprinkle with salt flakes.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
