  • 170 g wholemeal flour
  • 75 g plain flour
  • 1 level tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 level tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 3/4 level tsp sea salt
  • 1 level tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 level tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 level tsp ground ginger
  • 260 g butternut pumpkin
  • 100 g extra virgin olive oil, Or coconut oil
  • 100 g honey, Or maple syrup
  • 2 eggs

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180degrees
    2. spray bread loaf tin and line with baking paper
    3. Prepare pumpkin in Varoma and put 1ltr water into bowl.
    4. Steam pumpkin 12mins, Varoma temp, spd 3.5
    5. Empty water from bowl and put pumpkin into bowl
    6. Blitz pumpkin 3-5sec, spd 8 and scrape down sides
    7. Add all remaining ingredients
    8. Using 'dough' setting mix 1min30sec
    9. Pour into bread loaf tin and sprinkle pepita seeds on top
    10. Bake 40-45mins, let cool in tin 10mins before turning out
