Hot Ham & Cheese Dip

  • 1 Cob loaf, or 12 rolls
  • 250 g cheese
  • 300 g ham
  • 1 onion, halved
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 250 g cream cheese, at room temp
  • tobasco sauce, to taste
  • Worchestershire sauce, to taste
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • herbs, optional

Recipe's preparation

  1. Cut top off cob loaf or rolls, scoop out bread in middle. Place bread pieces on oven tray, spray with oil and toast in oven. Use for dipping.

  2. Grate cheese for a few seconds on speed 9, set aside.

  3. Put onion and ham in bowl and pulse 3-4 times, until chopped.

  4. Add cheese and other ingredients and stir on Counter-clockwise operation speed 2 until combined, using spatula if needed.

  5. Fill prepared cob loaf or rolls, replace bread lid, wrap in alfoil and place on oven tray.

    Bake at 180, 90 mins for cob and 30 mins for rolls.

Tip

If you have any filling mixture left over, spread it on toast and place under the  grill. This is nice to add to lunchboxes.
