Tip

Any cheese will work, although this is my husband's recipe and he recommends Tasty. I tend to buy Mild as it's cheaper and is full fat so has more flavour. You can also use 1 package of Cottage Cheese instead- it melts down wonderfully and no one has picked the difference yet.

If you don't want to make them immediately, the sauce will store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

You can also assemble and freeze for up to 4 months before use.

Recipe itself great, however using thicken totally overcooks mix and changes texture
