For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Weigh in all the ingredients, except the water and salt.
2. Blend 10secs/sp5
3. Add the water and salt and blend briefly 10secs/sp7. Then knead "Dough mode" , 5 minutes.
4. Tip onto a mat or greased bowl, cover with a clean t-towel, and prove until double (30mins)
5. Punch down and shape into an oblong. Place onto a piece of baking paper, cover and prove again for around 20-30mins.
Meanwhile pre-heat the oven to 180C convection.
6. Slash the top of the loaf if you wish before baking app. 25 minutes.
7. Turn onto a wire rack for cooling
