  • 180 g Milk
  • 145 g water
  • 2 level tsp instant yeast
  • 35 g brown sugar
  • 1/2 level tsp salt
  • 115 g unsalted butter
  • 650 g bread flour
  • 80 g raisins
  • 1 egg

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add milk and warm it up Closed lid 1min at sp1/37C
    2. Add water, yeast, brown sugar Closed lid 1 min at sp1/37C
    3. Add egg, bread flour, salt and unsalted butter Closed lid sp5/8secs
    4. Dough mode/ 6 mins
    5. Add raisins during the last minute.
  2. Transfer to an oiled bowl and let it proof for 30 minutes.

    Punch down, shape and place in a loaf tin to prove until double in size. Another 30 minutes.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 175C for 25 - 30 minutes.

Tip

Optional: After baking, while still hot, brush the top of the loaf with 1 tbsp of melted butter.

Variation:
Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon powder. Sprinke onto the loaf just before baking to making cinnamon raisin bread.
