Recipe's preparation
Add all ingredients into the TM bowl in the order listed.
Gradually turn up to speed 5 and mix for 5 seconds on speed 5, scape down sides if needed prior to kneading.
Mix 3 minutes "Closed lid" "Dough mode" .
Divide into 10 equal balls (I like to divide the batch in half then into fifths).
Roll out into thermomat as thin as you can (being carefull not to roll it bigger than the pan you'll be using).
Cook in a dry medium hot pan on both sides. You'll know when it's ready to turn or take off when a few bubbles go light golden brown on each side.
Place on a plate or tray which has a wet/damp papertowel ready, and in between each tortilla place another wet/damp papertowel. The tortillas come out of the pan a little crispy, by placing them in between the wet/damp papertowels they absorb the moisture and you end up with lovely fluffy tortillas that won't tear when you fold/roll them.
You can chose to warm them before you use them. I make these then use the same pan to make homemade taco mix - by the time the meat is done the tortillas are perfect and don't need reheating.

Tip
We found that once you fill the tortilla with your favourite fillings that two tortillas per adult is sufficient, three if there are any super hungry adults.I found this recipe on a website somewhere and cannot relocate it - thought this is a great alternative to the current tortilla recipes on the TM recipe site so had to share but cannot take the credit.

These wraps are fabulous. The tip about the wet paper towels is great. I was worried that they were a bit crisp and wouldn't roll, but a couple of hours with the damp towels and they were lovely. I'll be making this recipe again.

Awesome! The tip about using
Awesome! The tip about using wet paper towels between each tortilla ensured that these were the most flexible tortillas I've made to date. I used 120g wholemeal and 240g white flour. I cut the dough to make 12 tortillas. Will definately be making these again. Thank you for sharing!

Lovely recipe. I made them using Wholemeal Spelt Flour and they turned out amazing. We had them for lunch wraps with tune, avocado and mixed lettuce leaves. Then my husband had one with sliced banana, sulatans and a drizzle of mapel syrup for his sweets. Fabulous recipe, thanks for sharing.
Thanks also for the hint of using the damp paper towel to soften them. Works a treat.

These tasted good and the dough was easy to deal with without having to make it drier or wetter. One thing I found though is that they seemed to shrink as soon as I put them in the pan, otherwise very happy with this recipie!

These taste much nicer than store bought torillas, and were SO easy to make. I made them ahead of time (a few hours in advance) then warmed them in the oven while I prepared the rest of the meal and they were perfect!

I've made these twice now and once you have the process down it's really easy!
We had four adults and three kids eating these last night and it fed everyone - much cheaper than buying them from the shop and much healthier and tastier too!!
Thanks for the recipe
They're great aren't they!
They're great aren't they! Your're right - once you have the process down it's easy. I usually roll them out while the husband cooks them in the pan and so much cheaper than a packet from the shops - I saw them at between $3 and $4 in the shops over christmas which is crazy when you think how cheap you can make them for (and they taste so much better!).
