      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Pre-heat oven to 175°c, use 20cm round springform pan, no need to line or spay

    Mill Raw Almond 3 sec, speed 7, set aside

    Mill white sugar 20 sec, speed 10, scrape down side

    add 4 eggs, to powdered sugar, 4 min, speed 3.5

    add reserved almonds, and baking powder and flour, 5 sec, speed 3

    pour into prepared pan and bake for 40 min, until golden brown

Tip

Very nice with berry sauce drizzled over cake and lots of icecream for a simple dessert or just a slice with a cup of tea or coffee hits the spot
