  • We really enjoyed this

Submitted by Lets get cooking on 7. October 2014 - 21:51.

We really enjoyed this custard and loved it with banana!  Not sure it tasted like 'butterscotch' though, I add about 10g more of golden syrup as it tasted a bit milky.  I also had to cook it for about 11 minutes (I am using a Bellini). I see someone used maple syprup, I might try that next time.PS for my family this only feeds 4 tmrc_emoticons.D

Well I had a brain-dead moment and used maple syrup instead of goldern by accident. I also only had one egg and a couple of egg whites. Well it turned out sensational! Thanks for the recipe.  tmrc_emoticons.;)

  • Made this for my MIL who is

    Submitted by Jocasta on 17. May 2014 - 22:21.

Made this for my MIL who is extremely fussy about custard and was a bit sceptical as to whether Thermie could do a good custard. She RAVED about it and was even scraping the TM bowl! Commented that it was as good as her grandmother's custard and that's a BIG compliment. Thanks for sharing.
