  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbls white vinegar
  • 1 tsp bi carb soda
  • 390 g sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 280g SR flour
  • 125g Butter
  • 210g hot water
  • 25g cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract


  • 160g icing sugar
  • 60g cocoa powder
  • 190g Butter, cubed
  • 80g Milk

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven 190 degrees.


    Mix milk, vinegar and bi carb in a small jug or bowl. Set aside. 

    Put sugar and baking powder in TM jug, 10 sec sp 9.

    Add flour, butter, hot water and cocoa, 1 min 80 degrees sp 5.

    Add milk & vinegar mixture, eggs and vanilla, 30 sec sp 5.

    Pour into large greased rectangle pyrex baking dish, bake 45 mins at 190 degrees. Cut into squares after cooling, then ice.

  3. Put icing sugar and cocoa into TM jug, mix 5 sec sp 5.

    Add butter and milk, 5 mins 80 degrees sp 4.

    Pour hot icing over cooled cake.
