For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Pre-heat waffle maker.
- Place all ingredients in the bowl and mix for 5 seconds on speed 6 to combine.
- Turn speed down to 4 and mix for 25 seconds for a smooth batter.
- Spray the waffle machine with cooking spray. Pour 1/2 cup of batter into each waffle square (amount will depend on the size and shape of your waffle machine). Close lid and cook until the timer on the waffle machine has finished.
- Repeat with remaining batter.
- Keep warm and serve with your favourite toppings.
