  • 320 g water
  • 900 g Milk
  • 90 g white sugar
  • 1 dash vanilla
  • 4 tablespoon cornflour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Insert butterfly and place water and rice into bowl.  Cook for 10min on 100º,speed 2.  

     

    Add the milk and both sugars and cook for a further 13min on 90º, speed 1.5.  Reverse blade direction to prevent rice caking onto butterfly.

     

    Mix cornflour in a cup with 4 tbsp cold water and pour into bowl.  Cook for 3min, on 90º, speed 1.5. 

     

    Pour mixture into small bowls and sprinkle with nutmeg.  Allow to cool then place in fridge.
