  • 60 g milk chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 60 g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 cans canned black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 --- eggs
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 -2 heaped tablespoons Coconut Flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 70% cocoa
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder, gluten free
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 100 g chocolate chips, (optional)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C; lightly great a brownie tin/ cake pan and line with baking paper;
  2. Place the chocolate into the mixing bowl and chop 5 secs/ speed 7;
  3. Add coconut oil; milk and melt 2mins/ 75°c/sp 2;
  4. Add black beans and puree for 15sec/sp 10; stop and scrape down the sides; repeat 15sec / sp 10.
  5. Add eggs, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, bicarb, coconut flour, vanilla essence and a pinch of salt and mix 10sec / sp 4.

    If mixture appears too runny add more coconut flour; too stiff add a little milk. Mix through 5sec/ sp 4
  6. If using chocolate chips add here and mix through 10sec/ sp 3 Counter-clockwise operation;
  7. Transfer mixture into prepared baking tin and spread evenly. Bake in oven for 25 mins or until inserted knife comes out clean. Allow to cool and cut into squares. Sprinkle with icing sugar just before serving.
