      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Trail Mix Bliss Balls
  1. 1. Place Almonds, cashews, pepitas, sunflower seeds, dates, sultanas, oats & chia seeds into TM bowl, chop Speed 8/8sec.

    2. Add remaining ingredients, mix Speed 3/1.5-2 min. Length of time depends on how chopped you like it but bare in mind it needs to be fine enough to roll into balls.

    3. Sqeeze & roll into small balls, approx. 2cm in diam. Place on tray lined with baking paper.

    4. Refridgerate for about 15 min, store in an airtight container with a layer of the baking paper in between, in pantry or in fridge in the warmer months.

These are delicious!! Made a few adjustments to suit what I had on hand - hazelnuts instead of almonds and I didn't have rice malt syrup so used 50g honey and 90g coconut oil. Also used a mix of half sultanas and half goji berries.  ill definitely be making them again!

Wow, so glad you liked them, definitely try with cacao nibs, they give it a slight bitter choc taste. Look online for places that sell in bulk so it's not so expensive.

Feel free to try my other recipes, I've just made Hunters date & cranberry rock cakes, I added little bit extra dates & cranberries and it still worked nicely.

thanks for 5star rating... Happy cooking...  Cooking 7

Lovely little treat. Didn't have the cacao nibs and I changed the honey to rice malt syrup. Turned out perfect, one of my favourite bliss balls I have tried yet. Thank you for sharing.
