For the brownies

200 g Raw nuts of choice, eg macadamias, cashews, hazelnuts, etc
20 g cacao nib
8 pitted dates
30 g Cacao
1 tablespoon coconut oil

For the icing

1 tablespoon almonds
40 g Cacao
5 pitted dates
90 g coconut milk
2 tablespoon coconut oil, (melted)
1 tablespoon honey

  TM 5
  
  If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
  For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
  
  Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

Brownies

Place nuts into bowl and mill 10 secs / speed 9.

Add remaining ingredients and mill 30 secs / speed 9. Scrape down sides and check consistency. Mill longer if needed. Mix should be crumbly.

Put ingredients into a slice container (approx 15x25cm) and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Icing

Place nuts into mixing bowl, mix 10 secs, sp 9.

Place all other ingredients into bowl, mix 1 minute / speed 9. Scrape down sides and check consistency. Mixture should be smooth and creamy. Mix longer if necessary.

Pour frosting over slice and refrigerate for another 1-2 hours.

Slice and serve
