Non Bake Chocolate Brownies with icing

For the brownies

  • 200 g Raw nuts of choice, eg macadamias, cashews, hazelnuts, etc
  • 20 g cacao nib
  • 8 pitted dates
  • 30 g Cacao
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

For the icing

  • 1 tablespoon almonds
  • 40 g Cacao
  • 5 pitted dates
  • 90 g coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil, (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon honey

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place nuts into bowl and mill 10 secs / speed 9.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and mill 30 secs / speed 9. Scrape down sides and check consistency. Mill longer if needed. Mix should be crumbly.

  3. Put ingredients into a slice container (approx 15x25cm) and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  4. Icing
  5. Place nuts into mixing bowl, mix 10 secs, sp 9.

    Place all other ingredients into bowl, mix 1 minute / speed 9. Scrape down sides and check consistency. Mixture should be smooth and creamy. Mix longer if necessary.

  6. Pour frosting over slice and refrigerate for another 1-2 hours.

  7. Slice and serve
