Banana, blueberry and chia smoothie

Ingredients

1 portion(s)

  • 20 grams Dried pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 200 grams Milk
  • 50 grams fat-free Greek yoghurt
  • 20 grams spinach
  • 60 grams blueberries, frozen
  • 1 banana frozen

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place chia seeds and dates in thermomix bowl.  Grind on speed 10 for 30 seconds.

  2. Add all remaining ingredients to the thermomix bowl.

  3. Blend on speed 10 for 1 minute 30 seconds.

  4. Enjoy!

Tip

Any type of milk or yoghurt can be used.  I prefer low fat cow's milk and the Chobani fat-free Greek yoghurt.

Chia seeds may be left out but add a nutritional boost.

    Delicious! Perfect breakfast smoothie. My banana and berries weren't frozen so I threw in a handful of ice cubes but next time i'll try and get it icier!
