Ingredients

High Protein Tuna Patties

  • 340 grams Canned Tuna
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tsp lemon zest, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, Optional for frying
  • 1/2 tsp Butter, Optional for flavor

Recipe's preparation

    Chop the herbs
  1. Place parsley and chives in the mixing bowl

    Chop 3sec / speed 7
  2. Process the Bread
  3. Scrape down sides of bowl

    Add the slices of bread roughly torn

    Blend 4sec / speed6
  4. Mix the Patties
  5. Add

    Tuna

    Dijon Mustard

    Lemon Zest

    Lemon juice

    Water

    Salt and Pepper

    Egg

    Mix 6 sec Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3.5 until just combined
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as required
  7. Form Patties
  8. Divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties.
  9. Cook.

    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

    Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden and heated through.
  10. Serve warm with lemon wedges, salad and aioli.

Tip

This is a budget friendly quick easy lunch or dinner with heaps of protein.

You can make this into burgers or is filling enough with salad.
