For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  • Made this last night for

Made this last night for dinner and it was great. I followed the receipe to the dot and agree it was to much liquid but it was needed to be able to cover the chicken legs. Maybe a thickener added near the end? Taste was great and had it with rice cooked seperate

I added approx 350ml of apricot nectar that I had frozen from risotto, no water and used a tablespoon of stock concentrate instead of the soup mix. I had chicken thighs with no skin.  Nice flavour, lots of sauce.

Could you use dried apricots instead, and if so would you pop them into to cook or add later?

No.  The chicken will take up most of the room.
