If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

This was delicious. I left out the capsicum because noone likes it in our house and, after reading the comments, cooked the pasta seperately. I used a can of coconut milk and a can of coconut cream but it was way too much liquid (seems obvious AFTER I cooked it). Next time, I'll use one can of cream. I'd also like to try adding some kaffir lime leaves or other herbs.

Science doesn't care what you believe.

2 teaspoons of salt is really excessive, I used 1/2 teaspoon and it was more than enough.
Plus next time I'll cook the pasta separately as it made the dish gluggy. Still good but would of been better with the pasta cooked separately.

I made this tonight and it was very tasty but it was a bit creamy for us. I agree with some of the other comments that it only needs one can of coconut cream and probably would add a can of water. Hubby added some chilli to his and said that was a nice extra.

    Submitted by mummamidi on 5. January 2015 - 22:16.

This was nice, but I didnt have parsley as it is not listed in the ingredients (I went shopping before reading the recipe). A bit too creamy for my liking but I think maybe I could have used 1 can of coconut water instead?

  • Just made this recipe and it

    Submitted by Kylie.scales on 7. December 2014 - 18:28.

Just made this recipe and it was delicious! I used 2 x 270ml tins however one was coconut cream and the other coconut milk as I didn't have 2 tins of coconut cream in the pantry! Still worked a treat. I used squeeze gourmet garden parsley as I didn't have fresh. I also added one red chilli with seeds removed.
