Beef Balsamic and Tomato Stew

  • 1 Small onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 600 g Beef strips
  • 1 medium carrots peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 40 g balsamic vinegar
  • 400 g tin diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable stock concentrate
  • 200 g water
  • 50 g plain flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 g small pasta shells

Recipe's preparation

    Beef, Balsamic and Tomato Stew
  1. Place onion and garlic in TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds on speed 7

    Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add oil and cook for 3 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1

    Add beef and cook for 5 minutes, varoma temperature, reverse, speed soft

    Add carrot, thyme, balsamic vinegar, tinned tomatoes, stock concentrate, water, flour and seasoning.

    Cook for 40 minutes, 100 degrees, reverse, speed soft adding pasta in last 12 minutes

    Awesome recipe! Kids and husband were licking their bowls! The thick sauce was mopped up with bread at the end! A winner all round. Thanks for posting! Hubby gave this recipe a 10/10.
