  • 100 gram Parmesan cheese, 2 cm cubes
  • 1 --- brown onion, Halved
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 150 grams bacon, Sliced
  • 250 grams chicken breast, Sliced
  • 150 grams mushroom, Swiss Brown, fresh, Sliced
  • 300 gram cream
  • 40 gram Butter
  • 25 grams oil
  • pinch black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • pinch salt, to taste, optional
  • 1200 grams water
  • 320 grams pasta, dry, short or long

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Recipe's preparation

  1. Add 100 g Parmesan cheese, 2cm cubes to the TM bowl
  2. Place on the lid with measuring cup inserted Closed lid
  3. Grate cheese 10 sec/speed 10
  4. Set aside.
    Clean and dry mixing bowl.
    A clean bowl is important as any remaining cheese will be cooked to the TM bowl.
  5. Add to the TM Bowl
    1-2 cloves garilc
    1 brown onion, halved
  6. Place on the lid with measuring cup inserted Closed lid
  7. Chop 3 sec/speed 7
    Scrape down the sides
  8. Add to the TM bowl
    40 g Butter
    25 g oil
    150 g bacon, Cut into desired size
  9. Place on the lid with measuring cup inserted Closed lid
  10. Saute 3 min/100°C/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting
  11. Add to the TM bowl
    250 g chicken breast, cut into desired size
    150 g Swiss Brown Mushrooms, Cut into slices
  12. Place on the lid with measuring cup inserted Closed lid
  13. Saute 5 min/100°C/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting
  14. Add to the TM bowl
    300ml thickened cream
    salt and pepper to taste
  15. Place on the lid WITHOUT the measuring cup Closed lid
  16. Cook for 20 min/110°C/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting
    No measuring cup.
  17. Place 1200 g water into mixing bowl
  18. Place on Lid with Measuring Cup Closed lid Bring to the boil 10 min/100°C/speed 1 Kettle
  19. Remove measuring cup ONLY
    Add salt (optional) through hole
    Add 320 g dried pasta, short or long through hole without removing the lid
  20. Cook 11 min/100°C/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1 - time to your liking WITHOUT MEASURING CUP.
  21. Drain pasta add to the Thermoserver.
    Stir pasta through creamy sauce and serve top with reserved parmesan cheese.

Tip

You will require a Thermoserver or another large dish to keep the sauce warm.

If you are in a hurry, boil water in your kettle instead of following steps 19 & 20.

    This is a really simple and a very tasty recipe!



    I made my pasta separately in a pot on the stove.. and then mixed them both together with half of the cheese. The other half sprinkled in top of each portion.
