Curry Sausages

Curried Sausages

  • 500 grams Beef Sausages
  • 2 Large Onions, Peeled & Halved
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 green capsicum, sliced
  • 25 grams olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 250 grams H20 with 3 tsp TM Stock
  • 3 tbsp plain flour

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place sausages in Varoma and Varoma tray. Prick the sausages with a sharp knife (2-3 times per sausage)

    2. Put Varoma into position and cook for 20mins, Varoma temperature, sp 3

    3. Remove Varoma and basket, place rice into a Thermoserver. Allow Sausages to cool slightly before cutting to preferred size - add to your Thermoserver to keep warm.

    4. Add Garlic to TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds, speed 5

    5. Add onions and lock TM lid and turbo once or twice to get chunky onion pieces (or cut by hand to your prefered size).

    6. Add oil and curry powder and saute for 3 mins, Varoma temperature, Gentle stir setting.

    7. Add capsicum slices and saute for a further 3 mins, Varoma temperature, Gentle stir setting.

    8. Add mixture of water/stock and flour and cook for 10mins, 100 degrees, sp 1.

    9. Add curry sauce mixture to your Thermoserver with your sausages and stir through.

    10. Serve with your steamed rice.

For crispier skin sausages i often fry them off in the Fry pan instead of steaming them in the Veroma.

Serve with rice and seasonal greens.
