Yum! Will definitely make this again. I used 9 big fat sausages, added some extra vege that needed using up, a splash of red wine and served with rice. Perfecto. Oh and didn't add the sugar.

Any chance you could please list the ingredients in the order in which they're used?

It makes it so much easier when looking for quantities when adding ingredients.

This recipe has a great flavour but I personally found it to be overly complicated & feel like I could've done it way more quickly using a fry pan. Because of this, I skipped mashing the potatoes & just added them in as chunks to save time.

    Submitted by Chevmag on 20. May 2019 - 21:31.

Deviled Sausage heaven! I had no worcestershire sauce so made that first (what a show off!) I didn't clean the TM but continued with double sausage recipe teaching 14 yo grandson how to use thermomix. There is a reason god made wine!! We didn't use the brown sugar after reading the comments, just added a pinch of raw sugar. The mashed potatoes are the best like this & first time I've done, whole family loved them. We compromised on these, I let him add more butter providing he served finely sliced baby spinach (lots) on top of the potatoes & underneath the sausages. 3 generations loved this but there is definitely a lot of sauce. Also we used wholegrain mustard, I don't think we would have liked it as much with anything else. Great recipe & like most, can always be tweaked to suit your family, tastes & allergies. Thank you for posting, we'll use this regularly (says 14 yo!)

    Submitted by Shallaby on 16. May 2018 - 17:39.

My husband absolutely loves this recipe!

I don’t put the apple in and only about half the amount of sugar and it turns out really well. Does make a lot of sauce so I usually add extra sausages/veg.

it is quite ‘mustardy’ for my liking though. Is still on a regular rotation though as my husband loves it so much.

easy all in one recipe. I didnt have green apple so used a pink lady and left out the sugar- it was still sweet enough. Also added mushroom and carrot at the same time as the apple for some hidden veg and then added peas in the last minute. Both kiddies were happy and I didnt mind it either tmrc_emoticons.)

Submitted by Tracy Leard on 18. February 2018 - 11:17.

I made this last night after receiving a recommendation from a girlfriend who said it was quick, simple and delicious. I added extra vegetables and reduced the brown sugar to only 1 tablespoon as I read other people’s comments about it being too sweet. Turned out great and the mashed potato helped soak up extra juice.
