EZEE mince curry

  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 onion, cut in half
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 45-100 g everyday curry paste, of your choice
  • 400 g coconut cream
  • 1-2 tsp salt
  • 2-4 potato, cubed (3cm thick)
  • 1 kumara, large cubed (3cm thick)
  • 700-800 g mince
  • 100-200 g frozen peas

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place garlic and onion into bowl. Put on lid with measuring cup and chop for 3 sec/speed 7

    2. Scrape down side of mixing bowl with spatula.

    3. Add olive oil.

    4. Add curry past of your choice.

    5. Put lid on and place simmering basket ontop.

    6. Saute for 3 min/120 degrees/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1

    7. Add coconut cream, potato, kumara and salt.

    8. Put lid on and place simmering basket ontop.

    9. Cook for 10 mins/100 degrees/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1.

    10. Add frozen peas.

    11. Place lid on and place simmering basket ontop.

    12. Cook for 3 mins/100 degrees/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1.

    13. Prolong cooking for 2 mins if potatoes and kumara not cooked all the way through.

    14. Your curry is ready to serve.

Tip

This is a great recipe if you want to use store bought curry pastes. I add 1 packet (45g) for this recipe.

You can also add carrots if want to and frozen corn.

You just need to make sure you do not go over the max line of the bowl.
