My family really enjoyed this. I made double the sauce as per the comments. Was delish. Didn't have enough 'normal' potatoes for the mash so chucked in a couple of sweet potatoes. YUMMO!

Will definitely make again. Thank you.

Perfect!  Love all in one meals that are easy and taste great. Only change was to butterfly potatoes for 10 sec to avoid going to glue. Otherwise great!

  • I love that I can eat

    Submitted by taramx on 4. July 2014 - 20:17.

I love that I can eat something this full of flavour that is so easy and I know exactly what is going into it. I didn't cook my vegetables in the varoma and I also added more butter because that's how I like my mash. First time I've actually had a thermie win with the mashed potato! I might try using just a little less vinegar next time. This is becoming a fave in my house  tmrc_emoticons.D

I made this tonight as my second dinner in my new Thermi as I wanted to try the varoma. For a beginner it was easy to follow (except I didn't read it properly and my timing was a bit out). Will be adding this to my weekly meal plan!! Thanks
