Kid Friendly Spaghetti Bolognese

Bolognese

  • 500 grams Beef mince
  • 1 can Rosella condensed tomato soup (500g)
  • 1 white onion (halved)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 20 grams olive oil

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Spaghetti
  1. Place water into mixing bowl and bring to boil 10min/100deg/speed 1.

  2. Add dried pasta through hole in mixing bowl lid and cook for time indicated on packaging/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1.

    Note: Add oil to water if liquid bubbles over lid

     

  3. Bolognese Sauce
  4. Add halved onion and garlic cloves to bowl. Chop 5sec/speed 7.

  5. Scrape down sides of bowl. Add oil and saute 3min/120deg/speed 1.

  6. In the meantime brown beef mince on a stovetop (don't worry about seperating the clumps, these will seperate when added back into Thermomix).

  7. Add browned beef mince to bowl. Cook 3min/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1.

  8. Add tomato soup. Cook 10min/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1.
