  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 600 grams Lamb, cut into 5cm cubes
  • 800 grams Whole Tinned Tomatoes
  • 500 grams beef stock
  • 2-3 Washed and cubed spuds
  • 2 Carrotts chopped
  • cup frozen veges of choice
  • Rice or Pasta to serve with

    Lamb Stew
  1. Put onion,garlic,stock and tin of tomatoes into the Closed lid. Put lamb peices into the basket and cook for 50mins/Veroma/2. MC OFF

  2. Tip lamb into Closed lid and add carrots and spuds. Cook for 20/veroma/counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting MC OFF

  3. Add frozen veges, cook for 10/100counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting. Serve over a bed of cooked rice or noodles.

    This was nice, not as much liquid as i thought (mayb leave the MC on for the second cooking period), the meat pretty much stayed intact. I had a leek in the fridge so i threw that in as well, it all went together nicely.

    Oh NNOOOOOOOO, did you add all the other veges as well?? Thats a shame as I know its expensive to buy lamb!! I make this quite often and we all love it. I do have my chunks of lamb quite big so they dont shred.

    It didn't really work out for me. There wasn't much liquid, the lamb shredded to nothing once I took it out of the basket, and it just tasted like the tin of tomatoes.
