I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Add onion, garlic, carrot and zucchini to bowl, chop 5 sec/speed 5Add olive oil and saute 2 mins/varoma/speed 1/MC off Add mushrooms, dolmio sauce, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste and vege stock to bowl. Mix together roughly with spatula. Insert basket into the bowl over sauce (may push sauce up your bowl) and add mince to the basket (will be a tight squeeze, don’t add more than 500g). Season with salt and pepper.Set thermomix to 30 mins/100 deg/speed 1/reverse, break mince up every 10 mins with spatula to ensure its cooked evenly. When time is up, carefully add the mince from the basket to the sauce in the bowl. Rinse and dry basket. Set thermomix to 5mins/varoma/speed 1/reverse/MC off and place basket on lid of thermomix to prevent splatter and for sauce to reduce. Serve with cooked pasta and parmesan cheese, or use in a lasagne!
Lauren's Bolognaise Sauce
Tip
Instead of using a jar of Dolmio's, you could add another tin of tomatoes or a tin of condensed tomato soup.
Would also be nice with some red wine
