I used Decaf coffee the second time I made this as I was a little bit concerned with giving that much cafeine to my daughter (2yo) at dinner time. It tasted just the same with Decaf!! It is an awesome recipe

Really delicious - big hit with the family. I had so much sauce though - have put the leftover sauce in the freezer and will use it to simmer small meatballs. Thanks for sharing!

Lost my old recipe so looked up this which seems very similar. Loved it!! I added carrot & zucchini at step 1 then squeezed out the water. Sauce was lovely. I only added about 25g of coffee as that's all I had left but still found it too much. Will put less in next time. Thanks for a great recipe :)

i have this original recipe, just put it in a baking dish and use your hands to form a loaf shape. it needs room down each side once you pour the bbq sauce on it. it is the best meatloaf ever!
