For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Add 2 garlic cloves to the bowl
Add 3 spring onions quartered to the bowl
Chop 5 seconds speed 7
Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if necessary
Add 1/2 cup breadcrumbs to bowl
Add 60 grams of hoisin sauce to bowl
Add 500 grams of pork mince to bowl
Select dough mode 20 seconds
Check consistency of mixture
Mix again dough mode 20 seconds if needed
Shape into 18 patties
Shallow fry in pan until browned
Serve with sweet chilli sauce, rice and vegetables
or
Use as patties in burger rolls
