Spiced Orange Chicken with Rice

  • 2 fillets chicken breast
  • 100 grams fresh orange juice
  • 80 grams honey
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 oranges, One thinly sliced, other for jucing
  • 400 grams Basmatic or Jasmine Rice
  • 900 grams water
  • chives, Finely chopped to garnish

Recipe's preparation

  1. Cut Chicken breast in half and place in the Varoma Dish, place a slice of orange on top of each piece of chicken

  2. Wash rice and place into TM Basket

  3. Add water to mixing bowl, place TM Basket into bowl and place Varoma on top.  Cook 16 min/Varoma/Speed 4

  4. Remove rice from bowl and place into thermoserver to keep warm.  Empty out remaining water from bowl

  5. Add Garlic and remaining orange pulp and skin and chop Speed 8/10 Seconds

  6. Add all remaining ingredients inot the bowl, place Varoma on top and cook 5 min/Varoma/Speed 4

  7. Serve with rice and drizzle sauce over the top of the chicken
