Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
Please note that I have used the recipe to make 8 large burgers. This is a suggestion only. Of course if you want to make them smaller and get more out of it you can - this is entirely up to you
I used Thermie mayo and bread rolls, and filled with tomato, spinach and cheese.
The sausage mince can be replaced with beef or pork mince - whichever your personal preference is

Tanya, I’ve just made these for my kids’ dinner and am insanely jealous that I didn’t cook one for myself!!! They are SO good (I may have stolen a bite from the 4 year old).
I didnt have sausage mince unfortunately, but other than that I stuck to the recipe (small lie - I added a garlic clove with the onion, because I can’t resist) and they are fab!
We pan fried until brown then finished off in the oven for 8-10 minutes.

Excellent - I made a batch using half quantities as i didn't need that many. I didn't have any Dijon so used a tbsp. each of tomatoe sauce and BBQ sauce. And I used gluten free bread crumbs. Worked out great - a new family favourite. Many thanks!

An absolutely brilliant receipe - loved by the whole family (including 3 fussy kids). I did omit the onion & instead added half a peeled zuccini & a large carrot (blitz them to a pulp first). Made about 16 much smaller patties. Definately will be a regular food in this household
