Ingredients

  • 2 cm ginger
  • 1 fresh chilli, cut in chunks
  • 30 g fresh coriander leaves
  • 4 tomatoes, halved
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 400 g zucchini, cut into 4 - 5cm strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 300 g Raw frozen prawns, rinsed

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add ginger and chilli to mixing bowl. Chop 3 sec / sp7. Scrape down. Add coriander leaves, tomatoes. Chop 4 sec / sp 5. Scrape down. Set the mixture aside.

     

  2. 2. Add garlic. Chop 3 sec / sp7. Add oil and sautee without MC for 3 min / 120 degree / sp 1.

  3. 3. Add all remaining ingredients including the tomato mixture and excluding frozen prawns. Cook 5 min / 100 degree / Gentle stir setting / Counter-clockwise operation. MC on.

  4. 4. Add prawns and cook further 5 min / 100 degree / Gentle stir setting / Counter-clockwise operation. MC on. Serve with rice.
