      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. place 125g cheese in TM and blitz 5 secs / Sp. 8. Remove and place in a medium sized mixing bowl.

Place the remaining 85g of cheese in TM and blitz 4 secs / Sp. 8.
  2. Slice each pepper in half symmetrically, and core out the insides including the white veins.
  3. Add breadcrumbs, bacon, cream to the mixing bowl of 125g grated cheese. Mix all together.
  4. With a teaspoon, fill each half-pepper with two heapfuls of cheese mixture, and compact it down with the spoon. It doesnt matter if they aren't 100% full because it is quite a filling dish in any case.
  5. Complete by scooping a small teaspoon of the grated cheese onto the top and press down with your finger so that even if you tip it upside down the cheese wont fall off.
  6. Place on a tray with baking parchment and bake for 30 mins at fan 180C, or until the cheese is toasted.

You can freeze them defrosted; place on a baking tray and pop in your freezer. Once fully frozen (3-4 hrs time) you can pop them in a freezer bag.
