Chilli

  • 1 brown onion, Peeled and quartered
  • 2 cloves garlic, Peeled
  • 1 green capsicum, Deseeded and chopped into large pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, Freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cans tomatoes, Diced
  • 2 cans KIDNEY BEANS, Drained and rinsed

Per serve

  • 1 tablespoon cheese, Grated
  • 1 tablespoon natural yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon avocado, Diced

Recipe's preparation

    Chilli
  1. Put onion and garlic in TMX. Chop 3 seconds / speed 4 / MC on.

  2. Add green capsicum. Chop 3 seconds/speed 4/MC on. Scrape down sides. 

  3. Cook 5 minutes/Varoma/speed 1/MC on.

  4. Add chilli, pepper, cumin and cinnamon (not on top of blades). Cook 1 minute/Varoma/speed 1/MC on.

  5. Add tinned tomatoes and rinsed kidney beans. Cook 10 minutes/100 degrees/Gentle stir setting/MC off with simmering basket on top.

  6. Divide into 4 portions. If making for later, freeze portions. Otherwise, put into bowls. 

  7. To serve
  8. When ready to serve, top with cheese, natural yoghurt and/or avocado.
