Creamy Chicken Penne Carbonara

  • 250 g Penne Pasta
  • 15 g olive oil
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Minced garlic
  • 400 g chicken
  • 100 g sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried parsley
  • 1 egg whisked
  • 450 g water
  • 200 g cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Chop garlic & onion & parsley 5 seconds on speed 7. Take out blade attachment.

    2. Insert butterfly attachment. Saute on 115 degrees for 3 mins. Add diced bacon & cook on 115 degrees for 3 mins. 

    3. Add chicken, pasta, cream, water and oregano and cook for 10 minutes on 100 degrees on speed 1.

    4. Add mushrooms and whisked egg and cook for 5 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 1.

     

    5. Shave some Parmesan cheese onto top & pepper to taste when serving.

Tip

Put your pasta into your Thermoserver for a few mins to absorb the liquid if any.  You could also put baby spinach in the bottom of your Thermoserver to mix through your pasta.
