Michelle's Macaroni & Cheese

  • 29 gram Tasty cheese, Cut into cubes
  • 56 gram parmasan cheese, Cut into cubes
  • 780 gram full cream milk
  • 3 level tbsp plain flour
  • 100 gram Butter, Cut into cubes
  • 1 level tsp chicken stock paste
  • 1 level tsp Dijon mustard
  • 250 gram Crushed cornflakes, On top when baking to create a crust
  • 2 level tsp Deliciou Vegan Cheese Seasoning, Sprinkle over the macaroni once cooked
  • 1 portions Dried Macaroni Pasta, Cook following instructions

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Prepare pasta
  1. No counter-clockwise operationCook macaroni as per instructions on the packet and set aside in a large casserole dish.
    Turn oven on to 180 degrees.
  2. Place tasty cheese and parmasan cheese into bowl, 5 sec/speed 8 set aside in a bowl
  3. Place milk, butter, flour, chicken stock paste and Dijon mustard into bowl and cook 10 minutes/90 degrees/speed 4.
    Add a handful of cheese into the sauce about 1 minutes left of cooking time.
    Pour sauce over macaroni and mix to combine.
  4. Sprinkle reserved cheese over the top, deliciou cheese flavour and crushed cornflakes.
    Bake in oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
