Spaghetti Bolognese with Chorizo

  • parmesan, to taste
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 carrots, roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 500 g mince beef
  • 1 chorizo sausage, cut into small pieces
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can diced tomatoes

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Grate parmesan for up to 10 seconds on speed 8 and set aside.

    2. Place onion, carrots, garlic, oregano and curry powder into TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 7.

    3. Add oil and saute for 5 minutes on varoma tempCounter-clockwise operation+Gentle stir setting.

    4. Add mince beef, chorizo, bay leaf and a pinch of salt and cook for 10 minutes on varoma tempCounter-clockwise operation+Gentle stir setting. Use spatula a couple of times to help mix mince through.

    5. Add cans of condensed tomato soup and diced tomatoes and cook for 20 minutes on 100 degreesCounter-clockwise operation+Gentle stir setting.

    6. Serve on cooked pasta with grated parmesan.

Tip

Once the bolognese has finished, you can skim any excess oil that has risen to the top with a spoon or by placing paper towel over the top then quickly removing, the oil will stick to the paper towel.

I left the MC off for the entire cooking time however you can place the TM basket over the top to ensure the sauce doesn't splatter.
